Federico Immesi
Cello
Federico Immesi was born in Palermo in 1995. He began to approach music at the age of ten, studying guitar.
After various experiences in both musical and non-musical environments, he decided to dedicate himself to studying the cello at the age of 19.
He began his studies at the Conservatory of Palermo with Maestro Andrea Fossà, thanks to whom he became passionate about the baroque cello.
During his studies, he attended lessons and master classes with important teachers on the national and international scene such as Thomas Demenga, Enrico Bronzi, Alessandro Palmeri, Enrico Contini, Alessio Pianelli and Giovanni Sollima.
He completed his classical cello studies under the guidance of Dario Destefano at the Conservatory of Turin.
He is currently specialising in performance practice and the baroque repertoire with Alessandro Quarta, Alessandro Palmeri and Mauro Valli.
He regularly plays in important ensembles specialised in early music such as the Academia Montis Regalis Orchestra, LaBarocca, Enea Baroque Orchestra, Anima&Corpo Ensemble and is a stable member of the ensemble Delirium Amoris with which he regularly plays for organisations such as the Unione Musicale di Torino and the Società Bolognese per la Musica Antica.
