
Stefano Gérard
Violin
Stefano Gérard was born in Verona in 1995 to musician parents. From an early age, he cultivated a passion for music and began studying the violin at the age of 7.
He entered the Conservatory and completed his musical studies in Brescia in 2014 under the guidance of Maestro Alberto Martini.
In the following years he studied with great names in international violinism, including Roberto Ranfaldi, with whom he studied at the Accademia Perosi in Biella until 2018.
Parallel to his artistic activity with the main Italian and foreign musical realities, he also cultivates his passion for teaching, collaborating from 2018 to 2022 with the ‘Giuseppe Nicolini’ Conservatory of Piacenza as a collaborator in the ensemble music classes.
Since the end of 2019, he has been cultivating the study of the baroque violin, starting with the FIMA early music summer courses in Urbino.
After graduating in 2021, he began an intense artistic activity performing in the main European music festivals, collaborating with the most important conductors and artists on the international scene.
Thanks to the experience he gained, in early 2023 he founded the Ensemble Delirium Amoris in Bologna. With the ensemble he regularly participates in major music festivals, and will make his debut as a soloist in the group's first album due for release soon.
